What’s different?

  • Changes have been made to meet the Public Health Guidelines
  • Guests must pre-book their workout slot
  • No drop-ins
  • The Town of Espanola has a mask policy in place. We ask patrons to wear a mask into the building and in shared user space such as the lobby, stairwell & washrooms.  The mask can be removed in the fitness areas providing the user can maintain the recommended 6-foot distancing
  • Arrive dressed as change rooms and showers are not available
  • Equipment has been spread out between the fitness room and the poolside auditorium to ensure physical distancing
  • Patrons are urged to clean their equipment before and after use
  • Free weights & loose equipment must be returned so staff can ensure all equipment surfaces are disinfected in the cleaning schedule
  • Patrons must call or email to cancel a scheduled workout slot so as not to deprive other members the opportunity
  • Penalties will apply for missed scheduled appointments without cancellation notice
  • Upon booking patron will be pre-screened
  • Upon check-in patron will be re-screened in the event the booking was made 3 days or more in advance to ensure health and exposure status remains the same
  • Bookings will not be accepted more than one week in advance
  • Member/visitor will be paged 10 minutes before the ending of the scheduled workout by customer service
  • Late-comers will not have their scheduled time extended

  • Have you had a fever of over 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 F) or knowingly been exposed to anyone with a fever?
  • Have you experienced any of the following symptoms;
    • Shortness of breath – new or worsening
    • Cough – New or worsening
    • Loss of appetite
    • Muscle aches
    • Fatigue
    • Headache
    • Runny nose
    • Sore throat
    • Diarrhea
    • Abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting
    • Loss of smell
    • Poor taste or loss of taste
  • In the last 14 days have you:
  • Travelled to a COVID -19 hot spot?
  • Have you recently returned from air travel?
  • Have you been exposed or been in close contact with a known positive case
