Winter Street Banner Contest Winners

“Capture our Community” Street Banner contest was launched in 2018 to feature local talent in the designing of seasonal banners for the Highway 6 corridor.  The Town received submissions from local photographers and artists showcasing Espanola’s spirit, beauty, culture and heritage.

The banner designs which met the program criteria were voted on by over 400 members of the public. The winners of the winter banner contest are Sheri Commission, Kelli Roberston Hill and Jaymie Muncaster, each winning with submitted photography.

“The street banner contest is a great way to engage our community and show off the local talent of residents,” says Mayor Jill Beer.  “We thank all the artists and photographers for their interest in the program.”

The winning designs will be produced locally at OJ Graphix and will replace the Legion banners after Remembrance Day for the winter season.
