Update on Water Tower Maintenance Project

Espanola, ON / July 19, 2016

As of July 19, 2016, 24 hour shift work is required to complete the water tower interior lining replacement in order to meet the project goal of tower filling by August 1/16.

Landmark Municipal Services (Contractor) were faced with unforeseen circumstances, causing delays.  They will take all measures to minimize the noise during the overnight hours (11pm-7am).   Be advised this work completion will require the use of a compressor and dust collector which will run off of diesel motors.  The large “ARS Recycler” that produces the majority of the noise during the day will not be operating in the overnight hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and patience to meet this important project goal.

Please be reminded that the Temporary Water Restrictions Bylaw is still in place; please do your part to conserve water.
