Volunteers for Boards & Committees

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED FOR BOARD AND COMMITTEES

The Corporation of the Town of Espanola has established a number of Boards and Committees that serve the community in a volunteer capacity. These Boards and Committees help to advise and inform the Mayor and Councillors on matters that impact the public, giving residents access and input with decision makers in government.

The Municipality is currently looking for volunteers to serve on Council-appointed Boards and Committees. Members of the public are encouraged to submit an application for consideration as a volunteer on one of the various Boards and Committees.

1) Committee of Adjustment
2) Library Board
3) Non-Profit Housing Board
4) Police Services Board
5) Hydro

Qualifications:  Elector in the Town of Espanola or contracting area (Library Board), 18 years of age &, Canadian Citizen.  As per the Public Libraries Act a Board Member cannot be employed by the board or by the municipality.

Application forms are available at the Municipal Office, or can be downloaded from the website here.

Deadline is December 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm.  Please submit applications to the Municipal office.
