The Town of Espanola relies on our community partners for providing summer program opportunities.  We thank our partners for your commitment to youth programming.

Summer Programs & Events 2017(pdf)

Thurs July 13th & Wed Aug 16th 6:30-8:30pm
Learn how to safely and efficiently use stand up paddleboards. This class will introduce the novice to paddling in sheltered waters in calm conditions. Skills covered include kneeling, standing on a board, forward & turning strokes, and safety awareness. 
Paddle Board & paddle/Life Jacket & Certified Instruction included/Registration mandatory before June 30th

A limited number of inflatable paddle boards are available to rent from the Recreation Complex.  A half hour orientation is mandatory to rent the boards.  Orientations are offered Wednesdays at noon and must be pre-booked.

Outdoor Fitness Equipment
There are two pieces of equipment stationed on the Al Secord Trail with the remaining at the Clear Lake beach area.  A certified trainer is on site each Tues 12-1pm & 4:30-5:30pm &  Wed 10-11am (rain or shine).  Free Care Van service to the park is available weekdays by calling 705-862-0244. Espanola Annual Mixed Slo-Pitch Tournament

Tournament events include the Friday night Home Run Derby, a Saturday night concert in the Pavilion, BBQ & refreshments!
40 team maximum/all teams guaranteed at least 3 games!
