The Town of Espanola is now accepting applications for Summer Student positions with the Public Library and Public Works Departments
Public Library positions will plan, coordinate, and develop a suitable curriculum of activities for the TD Summer Reading Program. They will prepare, promote, and implement the program to run for up to seven weeks during July and August. If time allows, additional tasks assigned may include direct front-line circulation services to customers, technical services assisting in the preparation of new materials and technological support for customers.

Public Works positions will assist the department with general clean up and maintenance, including but not limited to litter pick-up, grass cutting, construction site flagging, painting, beautification and other general labour tasks within the community.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to school on a full-time basis in September 2023. Eligible students must provide transcript of current year and proof of returning to school in the forthcoming year.
A criminal reference check request letter will be provided to successful candidates.
