The beautifully landscaped and meticulously cared for Espanola Cemetery is located at 386 Ricci Drive.
Traditionally, interment arrangements are made through the Funeral Director. Families who choose cremation have the option to work directly with the Public Works Department.
- The purchase of a plot at the cemetery does not constitute the purchase of land. The plot purchase is recognized as Interment Rights only.
- Only the Interments Rights Holder can direct the interment of human remains and monuments.
- A transfer of Interments Rights is not binding upon the Cemetery until a duly executed transfer has been deposited with the Public Works Department. Citizens who are unable to produce Interments Rights may start the process at the Public Works Department to have Interment Rights recognized by the completion of an affidavits form. There is an $11.00 fee for a Commissioner of Oaths to complete the affidavits at the Town Hall, or the Public Works Department.
