ESPANOLA, ON, SEPT. 1, 2016 – Union Gas supports the Town of Espanola with a $2,000 grant to Espanola Fire Department for a public safety awareness programs focused on “Call Before You Dig” and the importance of carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.

Clear Lake Beach Closure Lifted

Clear Lake Beach Closure Lifted The Town of Espanola has received notice that the Clear Lake Beach Closure Order issued by the Sudbury & District Health Unit on July 9, 2015 has been lifted.
An inspection conducted this week of the beach concluded that the Eurasian milfoil is no longer an issue at this point in time. Clear Lake Beach will now be subject to the regular beach water
quality monitoring program and the Eurasian milfoil concern will continue to be assessed by the Sudbury & District Health Unit on a weekly basis.
