Recreation, parks and open space facilities are essential to the social and economic wellbeing of our Town. To ensure that infrastructure and programming is meeting the needs of our community, it is important to establish a plan. Therefore, in 2017, the Town will be developing a Master Plan to guide future decision making and municipal investment in recreation, parks, and open space, as well as programs and facilities over the course of the next 10 years.
Sierra Planning & Management has been retained by the Town to lead the development of the Master Plan. The anticipated completion date for the project is Spring 2017.
Get Involved! The Master Plan must reflect the needs and priorities of our community. Over the course of the project the consulting team will engage a range of stakeholders, including community partners, user groups and citizens, to help identify current needs, issues and priorities as it relates to investment in and the development of recreation, parks and open space in Espanola.
